Presenting the Pattaya 10s Shield Champions…Vagalions!
We had an excellent weekend down at the Chris Kay’s Memorial Tournament – Pattaya 10’s with some really great rugby being played. Thank you to Pattaya Panthers Rugby Football Club for being such excellent hosts and your thoroughly deserved bowl win.
This was the first time the VagaLions, a Phuket Vagabonds Rugby Lanna Lions team up had played together. This showed with some very narrow defeats on day one but as we played we got better and better. It was also great to see representative from all 4 Chiang Mai teams playing and excelling.
Thank you to the FABs – French Asian Barbarians Rugby Club, Bangkok Japanese Rugby Football Club (BJRFC), Cobras Rugby Club and Pattaya for the games. A huge shout out to Hong Kong Scottish RFC who we played in the Shield Final, it was a pleasure to play against you.
Well done to the Bangkok Southerners Rugby on their cup win and to Cobra Chiang Mai All Stars on their plate win.
